Project Overview
“How will personal taste develop when 

individuals gain ownership of their algorithms?”

As I engaged with various social media platforms, I often felt constrained by algorithms, 
recognizing their limitations in shaping personal taste. 
This realization led me to question their influence and envision a future 
where algorithms empower, rather than confine individuality.

CHIC2CHIC was born from this vision—an AI style mate 
that enhances the joy of diverse styling within a dynamic algorithmic ecosystem. 
The portable device, doubling as a fashion accessory, collects and curates styling data 
while enabling users to exchange, remix, and personalize their algorithms.
By expanding personal preferences and fostering creative expression, 
CHIC2CHIC redefines the relationship between fashion and technology.

Brand Identity System


Naming / Logo
The key interaction of the brand's core product involves the straight surfaces of the device facing each other, 
exchanging the algorithm. This reminded us of the gesture of a cheek-to-cheek greeting, 
and to reflect the fashion-oriented nature of the brand, we created the name 'CHIC2CHIIC.'

Inspired by the harmony of straight lines and curves in the product’s design, the logo features rounded elements, 
also, the symbol reflects the silhouette of the brand’s core product.











Typography
Bold and refined Macan was chosen for English titles, while SF Pro Text and Noto Sans CJK KR
both simple sans-serif typefaces, were selected for English and Korean body text, respectively.




Brand Color
As a brand represents diverse styles, a broad range of brand colors with varying saturation and brightness are selected. 
High-impact pink and green, which embody the brand’s ideal persona, serve as the primary colors.



Interactive Facial Interface 
Utilizing the central part of the logo, interactive facial expressions are designed to make CHIC2CHIC feel like a close best friend.








Generative Sticker
The brand defines one's taste as a "personal archive book," with its diverse visual assets taking motifs
from the motions of 
paper and stickers. Accordingly, each user is represented by a sticker-like icon.

Concept Photo &  Lookbook
CHIC2CHIC is more than an electronic device—it’s both a fashion item and a symbol of algorithm exchange. 
Therefore its concept photos mimic a ‘What’s in My Bag’ spread, styling the device with a persona’s belongings. 
After defining each persona with a unique style, we planned their looks, prop styling, and photo direction.
