Project overview
“How can a museum visit be enriched 

into a lasting and immersive memory?”


Among the many museums worldwide, we focused on those that attract large numbers of tourists and 
require optimized viewing routes due to their vast collections. Through this research,
we narrowed our target to ‘The Met’ and createdspecialized AR content for it. 

Met Mate aims for the museum experience, transforming a fleeting visit 
into an immersive and lasting memory through its specialized curation.

 

Project Goal

Brand Logo
The Met's serif logo has an antique feel, bold stroke contrasts, and interconnected, symmetrical letters. 
Inspired from this, I aimed to create a unique variation that maintains a sense of continuity while ensuring clear distinction. 
A bold sans-serif base with flipped "a" and "e" for structural similarity and differentiation.

Depending on the application, the logo can be used in a horizontal or vertical format,
while the color remains consistent with the museum’s existing visual identity.




Design Motif
To ensure that the AR glasses at the core of the Met Mate experience 
do not disrupt 
the conventional museum visit, 
its AR glass is inspired by The Met’s architectural elements.





Met Mate Souvenir
The postcard, featuring the day's viewing route and the Easter eggs I've found, becomes my unique souvenir. 
Since each postcard is personalized with individual records, a museum visit with the Met Mate leaves a lasting, memorable content, 
rather than a fleeting, one-time experience.
